Pom dance and cheer combine a variety of dynamic performance skills: high-energy moves, sharp unison choreography, and motivational cheers and chants that make this a vibrant, lively style. Routines require strength, flexibility and technique, all of which are taught in class.
Pom is where the academy's competitive pedigree really shows. Our teams compete nationally, and students have represented Team England at the ECU Championships in Vienna and the ICU Cheer and Dance Worlds in Orlando. Adults can join the Motion Masters Pom Dance Team on Thursday evenings.

Examination pathways at the academy include IDTA, RAD, ISTD, NATD, Acrobatic Arts, BBO. UCAS points are awarded for vocational grades. Read about dance exams.
